I am looking for a blog that gives the store deals with a current coupon offer to make it easier to shop. I am not a coupon diva or anywhere near the TLC extreme coupon show. I try to find one or two good deals a week for my stockpile.
Last week Smiths had the Barilla whole wheat pasta on sale for $1.00 a # if you bought 10. I found coupons on ebay @ buy two get $1. off. I got 20# of whole wheat pasta for .55 cents a #.
This week I saw that one store, Basha's had Star olive oil 25 oz for $5.99 and Safeway had buy one get one free of the same item. I found $1.00 off per item coupons on ebay and then calculated. Safeways Star olive oil was $10.99 for two but I could also use 2 coupons on the deal. I paid $4.25 per bottle for 6.
This week Basha's has $2 off if you buy 10 items of certain brands. I am now looking for coupons for those items and will see how I do. Coupons I'm looking for are Smuckers Jam and Folgers coffee.
I once read an investor say the best way you could earn interest on your money is to shop sales and use coupons. If you save 10% or more that is nearly always a better rate than you could earn elsewhere. Being frugal also means you make use of the items you buy so be sure you are not just spinning your wheels on items you'll never use and on clipping hundreds of coupons you;ll never use.
